McCoy Pottery Lamps Line
A century of Pottery. W. Nelson McCoy Pottery, J.W. McCoy Pottery Company, Brush McCoy Pottery.
About the Lamps Line
McCoy made a wide range of Tea Pots, Pitchers and utility items such as cream and sugar servers. Several of the popular McCoy Pottery lines from the Harmony Line, Blossom Time Line, The Lost Glaze and more had a wide range of serving sets and kitchen accessories.
Post WWII in the early 1950's there was a boom in demand for such utilitarian kitchenware items and McCoy concentrated their emphasis from production to demand. Ceramic imports also began flooding the marketplace. Between this and the addition of plastic and metal art which cost much less than pottery, McCoy began boosting its efforts and increasing its lines variety and decoration in the hopes of appealing to the consumer's aesthetic demands.
NOTE: We have amassed a collection of images of many of the known Lamps pieces below, however we are always looking for more. If you know of one that is not listed, please let us know by contacting us at webmaster@mccoypottery.com
