About the Basket Line
Introduced in 1959 the Basket Line consists entirely of "Basket" shaped pottery pieces. Flower baskets, planters, and centerpieces are among the pieces produced.
Not all pieces are baskets, but contain a "basket weave" pattern, the resembles a "basket".
Most pieces are marked "McCoy USA" or "McCoy LLC USA".
Other "basket" pieces made prior to 1959 are located in the "Baskets" section. There are also more fine examples of McCoy Pottery Baskets from the "Hanging Basket Line".
